FAQs

When is the best time to book a session?

The best time to book a maternity session is as early into your pregnancy as possible to secure your spot within the proper time frame of shooting.. Sessions are held between 27-33 weeks of pregnancy.

The best time to book a newborn session is during the second trimester of pregnancy. This allows for proper preparation and will secure your session for your due dates time frame. I usually book up months in advance and can only accept a limited amount of sessions each month to leave wiggle room for unexpected due dates.

The best time to book a milestone shoot is at least one month in advance to ensure proper preparation. Cake smashes are best held at 10-11 months old and preferably before baby is walking.

When will my baby be photographed?

After you have made a deposit your shoot is secured for around your due date’s time frame. Once baby is born it is extremely important to reach out so we can schedule the actual date of the session. It is best to do the newborn shoots between 5-14 days old. After this time frame babies become more alert and their bodies are no longer open to all poses.

What should i bring to the shoot?

Newborn sessions typically last 1-3 hours. I would prep baby to be out for that duration packing extra milk if bottle fed, diapers and pacifiers. All props and attire are included.

For milestone photos, what you need to bring depends on the type session you have booked. All props are typically included but please refer to your sessions consultation to make sure you have everything needed.

What is the turn around time for pictures?

After your session you will receive an online gallery link sent via email in 1-2 days. You will be able to choose the photos you would like through there. Once completed, photos may take up to 14 days to be sent back.

Am I able to have the raw, unedited photos?

All unedited photos will be shared with a watermark on them. I am unable to give out unedited photos without it to protect my work and artistic style. Additional edits are available however at an additional cost of $10 a photo.

What is your booking deposit & return policy?

All sessions require a 50% deposit during booking. Plans and bundled sessions require a 33% deposit. These deposits include a $150 non-refundable retainer fee. That fee secures your spot and blocks off other potential clients on my calendar and allows me to start prepping for your session.

Once a session is locked in, and you may need to cancel a shoot, please give a 48 hour notice for a full refund (minus the $150 non-refundable retainer fee.) Any cancellations within 24 hours of shoot results in a full payment withholding.

If a session or item was purchased on sale, you can not get this price again if you cancel and need to rebook. Must pay current full price.
